Alongside our member organizations, the Alliance’s goal is to strategically help to grow the market for annuities by changing the conversation to resonate more deeply with both consumers and financial professionals. At our core, we are running a category campaign—one that is product and business model agnostic. This campaign educates Americans about protected income solutions and simplifies the language and conversation around annuities to open the door for consideration of this asset class—and we do think of “Protected Lifetime Income” as an asset class and as a critical component of a diversified retirement portfolio.
